LISTEN TO AUIO NOIR USING THIS PLAYER

NOTE - the script that generates the "upcoming" track list stopped working, this is because the Shoutcast server software does not support HTTPS and the script must get the upcoming tracks data from the Shoutcast server software.... Chrome recently changed the way it handles this- to see the list of upcoming tracks, go to settings/advanced/site settings/insecure content. Add server site (lf.org which is our main host, we are a sub-site on this nonprofit server) to "allow".  Restart Chrome and the list will show up. Thanks to the kindness of VINCE who volunteered this info!

Status: Server was rebooted by staff at the datacenter due to a power outage there, and was down from 4:41 CDT on 5/9/2020 until I brought the stream back online at 5:56 CDT. .

-We have a new "testbed" server for staging new software, and which can be put into service as a backup if the main server goes down for any length of time. This new server is up and running, and if you want you can listen to it with this player:

This new test server plays EXACTLY THE SAME PROGRAMS as the "normal" Audio Noir server, but the program sequence is not in sync. So, for example, there may be an episode of Whistler on the "main" audio noir stream, and the test server may be playing a Dragnet episode at that moment in time.

This new server will not be available on C Crane, Grace or other Internet Radio Appliances unless you create a custom station using the addess noted above; this stream is also not available on iTunes, TuneIn or other aggregators or directories. It is a TEST STREAM and while I intend to keep it running 24 x 7, it may go down once in a while for technical fiddling.

AUDIO NOIR ON THE RADIO If you live in certain parts of Chicago, IL you can hear AUDIO NOIR on your FM radio. THESE ARE VERY LOW-POWER, LIMITED RANGE SIGNALS- basically a few people are sending out Audio Noir using those little gizmos that let you listen to your iPod on an FM radio. Reception area is VERY LIMITED but there are people who have heard the signal; give it a try if you live in Chicago; tune around the bottom of the dial with your FM radio and if you hear BROADWAY IS MY BEAT etc then you've found us!
