No Community Classes Offered At This Time

Through a series of four evening classes, beginning students have the opportunity to develop a foundation in woodworking skills. Topics covered in the four nine-week, 2 & 1/2 hour classes include basic woodworking, hand tools, power tools and project design. While students may opt to take only one class, the program is designed sequentially, with each course progressing to the next. Starting with simple projects, the continuing student will have the opportunity to learn to build their own pieces of fine furniture using more sophisticated techniques.

In addition to the four core classes, other classes are also available to help learn the tools and artistic elements of the woodworking world. Shop time is also available for persons with experience in woodwoorking. The school itsself is located at 6525 North Clark Street in Chicago, Illinois, on the second floor through the wooden deck entranceway. You will discover that our classes are very reasonably priced, and our teachers are extremely knowledgeable in the art of fine woodcraft.
